
GRADING
The raw material is getting more difficult to source. The target is to act green and offer Oak in Classic grades ( ABC combine )

Select ( A ) – Oak boards of this type are produced from first-class wood. Rare, individual, healthy branches up to 8 mm are permissible. The sapwood is not allowed. Natural, rare, minimum fissures are allowed at the ends. There are color deviations due to the natural wood pattern.

Rustical ( C ) – This type of oak boards has a bright wood pattern with natural branches up to 60 mm and loaded of up to 50 mm. Unlimited number of healthy twigs. Branching emphasizes the vibrancy of the wood and provides color diversity, which reveals the true beauty of the wood. Up to 10% of the sapwood is tolerated. Naturally occurring and plug fissures are permitted up to 20 cm long and 5 mm wide.

Natural ( B ) – This type of oak boards meet the highest standards, but unlike the Select type the limit of the amount and the size of the branches can be higher. Healthy branches can be up to 25-35 mm and the loaded ones by 15-25 mm. Allowable minimum amount of the sapwood is up to 5%. Natural, rare, minimum 20 mm long and 2 mm wide fissures are allowed at the ends. Different patterns have different shades of wood which makes the floor look natural and alive.
